しかし、現実には作品を完成させる人は、ほとんどいません。

家庭用のハンディカムやスマホのカメラでも、十分に鑑賞できる品質の映像は撮影できるんです。
ただ、多くの人は「編集作業」で挫折します。
パソコンを使ったビデオ編集は、ゼロから技術を習得しようとするとなかなかに大変で、ほんの短い映像の編集にも膨大な時間を費やしてしまうことになります。
そこで、私は、「自分だけの映画」を完成させるために、まずは編集と仕上げだけを、経験者に依頼する事をオススメします。

必要なのはインターネット環境だけです。
こちらで仮編集した状態を、限定公開設定にしたYouTubeにアップロードして、確認していただき、修正点を指摘していただき、再度、編集し直してアップロードする、ということを繰り返すことによって、イメージ通りの映像に近付けます。

A Shortcut to Finishing Your Film: Outsourcing the Editing
Many people dream of making their own film.
Surprisingly, there are quite a few who share this desire.
But in reality, very few actually complete a finished work.
Even if you’re someone who wants to make a film, you probably have several reasons why it hasn’t happened yet.
Filmmaking isn’t all that difficult—but to be honest, most people simply don’t get it done.
Why? Because it takes action and persistence to see a project through to completion.
And that’s understandable. Life is full of other priorities that demand your time and energy.
But making “your own film” doesn’t mean you have to do everything yourself from start to finish.
If you come up with the concept, have friends help with the shooting, and someone else handles the editing, it’s still your film.
Even in commercial filmmaking, the person at the top is the producer—the one who initiates and oversees the project.
Today, shooting has become incredibly easy.
Of course, cinematography is a deep craft, and there’s always more to learn. But at the very least, we’re no longer in the era of film reels where a mistake could mean losing everything.
Even with a home camcorder or smartphone, you can shoot footage that’s perfectly watchable.
The real stumbling block for most people is editing.
Learning video editing from scratch can be overwhelming. Even short clips can take an enormous amount of time to polish.
That’s why I recommend outsourcing just the editing and finishing work to an experienced editor—especially if your goal is to complete your own film.
If you send your raw footage and supporting materials like the script, the editing can be done entirely online to match your vision.
All you need is an internet connection.
I’ll upload a rough cut to YouTube with limited access so you can preview it, suggest changes, and I’ll revise and re-upload until the final version matches your expectations.
