映画用工作・安全に撮影するためのダミー松明
川口浩探検隊のオマージュ「チームウェンズデイ探検シリーズ２」で使用した、松明の小道具です。
実際の撮影で火を使うことは、安全のため極力避けたいので、炎を合成する前提で、ライトを仕込んだ松明のダミーを作って、使用しています。
ライトは、人物の顔に当たるようにして、炎の照り返しを表現しています。
本編では、サンプル映像にある、小人の遺跡のシーンのほか、洞窟のシーンでも使用しています。
安全第一の制作方針のため、重宝している小道具です。

Prop Craft for Films: Dummy Torches for Safe Shooting
This prop torch was crafted for Team Wednesday Exploration Series 2, an homage to the legendary Hiroshi Kawaguchi Exploration Team.
For safety reasons, we aim to avoid using open flames during actual shooting. With plans to composite flames digitally later, we created a dummy torch embedded with lights to simulate the effect. These lights are designed to cast reflections on actors’ faces, mimicking the warm glow of firelight.
In the main production, this prop appears in scenes such as the ruins of the “Little People” (featured in the sample footage) and cave explorations.
With safety as our top priority, this versatile prop has proven to be an invaluable part of our filmmaking toolkit.
